BEHIND THE LENS

A Florida native, raised in beautiful Sarasota, Fl.  Young, energetic, experienced, fun, compassionate, prompt, and professional, yes, that's me!

I am Corinthia, but you can call me Cee.  Mother of two beautiful children.  Their ages are 22 & 20 (son & daughter).

You may have seen my face in and around the community.  I'm actively involved in church organizations, school fundraisers, campaigning, charity/social parties, and feeding the homeless.

Super Perfervid about photography.  It is my heart, my love, and my stress reliever.  My photography started out as a hobby in August 2007, then became a means of escape and comfort in 2013.  Now it acts as a means to show how I perceive the world around me through my lens. Slowly but, surely it has evolved into a staple of who I am. To most, a photograph is an image on a piece of paper or on a computer, but to me it means so much more. For me, it is about capturing emotion – happiness, worry, excitement, or anger.   It is a way to stop time, or as they say in Latin, ‘carpe diem’ – once the moment has been captured, it remains there forever. It is a means of change – spreading awareness and information by capturing what others cannot see.

And it makes me proud to say I can do all of the above with the creative eye that God has given me.

I hope that you thoroughly, enjoy my artistic side as much as I do...

Giving back to the community, and helping is, and will always be a part of me.

The word of God says “Those who are gracious to the poor lend to the Lord, and the Lord will fully repay them. –Proverbs 19:17

I am also the Founder of The JLS Golden Hands Foundation 501c3 nonprofit.  JLS Golden Hands Foundation was founded in 2017 in honor of my father Jimmie Saffo. He was a hard-working, genuine, selfless Army veteran who gave to others even when he himself didn’t have anything to give. He was especially instrumental in supplying neighborhood children with back-to-school supplies to ensure their academic success. My father was taken too soon in 2014, but the Golden Hands Foundation was my way to continue in his legacy and honor his memory.

The JLS Golden Hands Foundation focuses on the academic, charitable, and economic development needs to ensure a sustainable reach for years and generations to come. Our specific initiatives include:

Academic: scholarships and back-to-school initiatives

          Charitable: fundraising and sponsorship

Economic Development: networking, entrepreneurship, & entertainment

I am super excited for what God has in store for the business ventures he has blessed me with.

Thank you for your time...God bless

-Cee
